LiveByLunch Content Policy

LiveByLunch sites are for real, lawful local businesses. Sites and content that break this policy may be blocked before publishing or disabled afterwards.

Not allowed

1. Illegal goods, services or activity. This includes drugs, weapons trafficking, fraud, counterfeit goods, unlicensed regulated services where a license is legally required, and anything that facilitates crime.
2. Adult or sexual content. No sexually explicit material, escort or sexual services, or adult entertainment.
3. Hate and harassment. No content attacking people based on protected characteristics (for example race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity), and no threats, harassment or calls to violence.
4. Impersonation and deception:
   • pretending to be another business, a brand, a government agency, or a person;
   • using names or logos you don't have rights to;
   • phishing or fake login pages;
   • fake "official" sites.
5. Fake social proof. No invented reviews, testimonials, ratings, awards, certifications, licenses, insurance claims, or statistics. Our AI is instructed not to create these. You must not add them.
6. Violence and self-harm. No content promoting or glorifying violence, self-harm, or dangerous challenges.
7. Malware, spam and abuse. No malicious code, spam campaigns, or attempts to collect data deceptively.
8. Others' rights. No content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or privacy, including posting someone's personal information without consent.

How we enforce it

• Before publishing: automated checks on site text. These include an AI moderation model and rules for reserved or brand names, and they may block publishing. If a check is wrong, contact us.
• After publishing: we may review reported or flagged sites. Sites may be disabled immediately (visitors see an "unavailable" page) while we review.
• Repeat or serious violations: your account and invite access may be removed.
• Appeals: email [email protected] with the subject "Appeal", your site name, and what you'd like reconsidered.
